TASK: Marshmallow Relief Map

DEFINED TASK: Students will create a relief  map showing the land forms/bodies or water found in Illinois.

PROCESS:
    1. Use the back of your social studies book as a guide to discover the types of land forms/bodies of water found in Illinois.
    2. Make a map key using colors and symbols to represent the land forms and bodies of water (we will use marshmallows for the hills).
    3. Use a pencil to outline your land forms and label any bodies of water (rivers,lakes).
    4. Use a star to show our state capital and write in the capital name.
    5. Neatly, color in your map according to your map key.
    6. Glue on marshmallows to show hills.
                                                        Have fun!!!
